Help Needed for Meatloaf Dinner

Helpers are needed for Pumpkin Bar baking on Saturday, October 10 at 9 am. On October 17 help is needed for meatloaf baking/ meal preparation.

 

Donations of home baked goods, fruit preserves, honey, etc. to be sold during the Lefse/Bake Sale on October 18, can be dropped off Saturday am (the 17th)  or early Sunday morning (the 18th) before church. We will price and package if needed.

 

Donations: A sign up sheet will be in the fellowship hall. Monetary donations are always welcome. See Rhonda Wethal or Anne Brunsell and we will shop for you!

 

Sunday School News

Sunday School resumed on Sunday, September 20. This year we look forward to learning more about important events in the Bible, God's love for us, and the wonderful stories Jesus told to help us be kind and caring people in the world. We will also be incorporating simple songs and prayers, along with enjoyable hands-on learning activities into our lessons. Some big topics of focus will be Noah's Art, books of the Bible, Fruit of the Spirit and prayer. 

​

Our multi-age Sunday School class meets during the worship service. Class time lasts approximately 25 minutes or longer. All of the children of the Cooksville Lutheran Church, as well as children who are visiting are invited to join us! Bring along your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other children you know and love!

 

 

Celebrate Inserts

Celebrate  inserts are available in the Narthex each Sunday for members and friends to pick up and take home.

Pastor's Office Hours

Pastor Elizabeth’s open office hours are on Wednesdays from 3-5 pm; however, she is in and out of the office Mondays through Thursdays for meetings, visits, time with staff and worship preparations, and is also available by appointment.
